implimented on multiple machines and stages. Front end prescreening
servers cull out the really bad spammers using sender verification,
black lists, virus filtering, and other methods that eliminate the
first 90% of spam. Then the message can be passed on to the content
filtering servers which look at what is in the email to determine if it
is spam using rules and bayesian filters.
Email can then be sent to post routing servers that redirect delivery
based on any kinds of rules you want. This allows the system to presort
the incoming mail and redirect it to get to the people who need to see
it.
Besides just front end servers we can also design the mailbox delivery
systems providing you with POP, IMAP, and web based email access for
your employees. Encrypted protocols keep messages private and secure.
Direct server side IMAP folder delivery allows your incoming email to
be presorted for you. Spam can be delivered in separate folders by
different grades so that your employees can get their spam without it
being put into their inbox, and then automatically deleted if the
messages are left there.
